The Story

Our world has come to an end as nuclear warfare has taken over our planet. The human race will not survive for much longer in the toxic wasteland. The survival of humanity depends on 4 travellers in search of a new planet to continue the human species.

The 4 Travellers stumble upon a promising planet. They decide to scout out the planet to make sure there aren't any threats to the human race to survive. After a few days they start to notice unusual movement and start to have a bad feeling about the planet as if they are not alone.

They soon find out this planet is not safe and they are living amongst an alien species who are not too keen on the idea of us being on their planet. A battle soon breaks out and the 4 travellers find themselves in the middle of a war outbreak in which they have to fight to survive!

The travellers barely manage to escape the planet with battle scars to prove it as they enter space again to continue their search for a planet to live on.

I'm an audio engineer and producer from Perth, Australia. I began producing electronic dance music in 2014 within the genres of progressive house and electro house. The beginning of 2017 my productions steered towards heavier forms of forms such as dubstep and bass house.

I aim to incorporate and combine my melodic tastes and heavy elements into many of my works in hopes to create something fresh and new. I believe music should have the ability to tell a story, to take the listener on a journey, into the unknown.

I also DJ at various house parties and in my spare time. Here you'll find a collection of my own works and catch a glimpse into my style and character

Throughout my course at SAE I have gained strong experience in all areas of audio for example, Sound Design, Post Production, Mastering, Live Sound and Mixing in Surround Sound.

I feel confident in all these areas and I would see myself capable of executing any tasks involving these aforementioned audio qualities.

I have a particular interest in sound design and post-production.

ProTools is my preferred DAW in which I have gained extensive experience and I have also worked with Ableton.

In addition to the aforementioned sound design and post-production, I have gained significant experience and knowledge in live sound, mastering, recording as well as other areas of audio throughout my degree coursework.

Through SAE I have had access to many digital and analogue consoles including Avid S6, Tascam DM-4800, Audient ASP4816, Audient ASP8024, Neve Custom Series 75, and the Mastering Suite. I have solid experience with live sound utilising both external sources as well as my personal professional audio equipment.

During my degree, I re-created the audio for movie clips and trailers for Star Wars Episode 9, Modern Warfare 4 and War of the Worlds amongst others. These assignments required sound design, foley/dialogue and processing skills and techniques.

19 Year old with a Love for the Electronic sound, started Dj'ing and Producing at the early age of 10 starting on software like Cubase 5 creating my own music, where I started to develop my own unique twist to EDM, Especially combing Dubstep and Breaks with a blend of everything else.

With a strong influence from my father who is also a producer and the founder of Wave8 - Studio Recording and Production , also finding inspiration in many other artist.

I have recently taken over the business and am now the owner of Wave8. I had the advantage so many young Producers do not have access too but only dream about and that is access to a Pro Studio, Pro hardware synths and equipment where I Produce all my tracks in Presonus Studio One Pro and Ableton Live at my Studio WAVE8.

I have also recently received my bachelor in Audio Production which I attained whilst studying at SAE Perth.

Over the past decade Tommy Varekai (Legal: Tomas Staszak) has expanded his skill sets across a wide variety of instruments instruments including Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Drums and more as well as a vast array of genres from Rock/Metal, Pop, Jazz, Electronic and even programming orchestral music. Having studied at WAAPA, North Metro Tafe, SAE Institute there Is no shortage of compositional knowledge and experience In music and sound design that will be an asset to any given task. Tommy Is also an experienced audio technician within Western Australia's largest arenas and stadiums on the side. While studying the Bachelor of Audio at SAE Institute he has collaborated with all disciplines from scoring for video games, composing themes for short films, recording bands, mixing, mastering, recording foley all done in his primary DAW of choice, Pro Tools in his home studio.

With a collection of over 150k unique samples, 12 synthesizers, 4 basses, 5 guitars, 70 virtual instruments (Omnisphere, Arturia collection, Roland Cloud) and over 40 kontakt instruments including some notable prestige librarys such as Spitfire Albion and Hans Zimmer Percussion, Requiem Choir there is an endless supply of versatility among the highest quality for your music related needs.
